GOD'S LOVE FOR THE HOMOSEXUAL

As you read this tract, please know that we are not for homosexual bashing and God isn't either.  We simply want to examine the truth. As a matter of fact God has clearly expressed His love for the homosexual through His Son Jesus Christ. The question of whether or not God loves homosexuals was settled almost two thousand years ago, when Jesus was crucified on the cross, taking the punishment for sin.  (Romans 5:8)

It is a fact that God loves you and is deeply concerned about your life.  He warns us that there are consequences to our actions.  Just as God has created natural laws on the earth such as the law of gravity, there are also spiritual laws that apply to our lives that are explained within the Bible.  (Romans 6:23)

In this tract we will show you a few facts concerning both the natural and the spiritual consequences of  living a homosexual lifestyle.

Remember that we aren't trying to condemn, but, after exposing homosexuality for what it is, to give "a hope and a future", to show that there is a way to find true freedom.

FRUITS OF HOMOSEXUALITY
 

According to the Center for Disease Control in analysis after 1997:
60% of all AIDS cases in the United States are homosexual men.
This is an amazing figure and is brought into focus when we consider the fact that homosexuals are only about 1-2% of the population of the United States.

People are not born homosexual.  (U.S. Center for Disease Control study.
Atlanta, 1982).  Current research shows no physiological or genetic
difference between homosexuals and heterosexuals.  There are only genetic
theories and speculations.

According to Dr. Elizabeth Moberly, Cambridge University:
85-90% of all lesbians have been victims of sexual abuse.

The 1948 Kinsey's report, that stated 10% of the U.S. population was
homosexual, has been completely discredited by recent studies which charge
him with biased and non-representative sampling.

The correct statistics according to a University of Chicago study is that about 1% of
the U.S. population is homosexual.  And the National Center for Health
Statistics shows that less than 3% of the U.S. population is both homosexual
and bisexual.

The lifespan of a single homosexual man, aside from AIDS, in the United States is 42 years.
This is according to a study done by Dr. Paul Cameron, Chairman of Family Research Institute, Inc.  Studied were 6,737 obituaries from 18 U.S. homosexual journals over 13 years; they were compared to a large sample of obituaries from regular newspapers. (Cameron et al. The longevity of homosexuals. Omega 1994:29:249-72.)

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY?

In Romans 1:25-27, God calls homosexuality unnatural:

...who changed the truth of God into the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed to the ages.  Amen.  Because of this, God gave them up to dishonorable passions, for even their females changed the natural use to that against nature.  And likewise, the males also having forsaken the natural use of the female burned in their lust toward one another, males with males working out shamefulness, and receiving back within themselves the reward which was fitting for their straying away.

In 1Corinthians 6:9-10, God calls homosexuality unrighteous along with other sins. He also points out that homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God:

Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be led astray; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous ones, not drunkards, not revilers, not swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

In Leviticus 18:22, God calls the act of homosexuality an abomination:

You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.

In Leviticus 20:13, God calls the act of homosexuality detestable:

If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with women, both of them have committed a detestable act...

THE SOLUTION

After examining the Bible, we can see that God treats homosexuality as sin.  Nowhere in the Bible does God accept homosexuality as a natural lifestyle.  We all have the power to chose, and homosexuality in the end is another sin that people chose to commit.  The question now is whether or not you are going to agree with the Almighty God, the Creator of the universe and the Creator of you.  What you decide will determine your future for eternity.

Dear reader, God is extremely gracious and He desires that none of his would perish but for all to come to repentance.(2Peter 3:9)  God has made it possible through His Son Jesus Christ that you may be completely free from homosexuality as well as every other sin!(John 8:34-36)  The problem is that your sin has separated you from God and keeps you from a relationship with Him.(Isaiah 59:2)  Romans 6:23 states that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  This death sentence is on your life right now, consequently ready to plunge you into eternity away from God in Hell. Jeremiah 17:9 tells us that the heart is more deceitful than all else and desperately sick. You must see that you are in desparate need of the blood atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ, which removes your sins.(Hebrews 9:22)

Don't reject the love of God today!  Repent of your sins (turn away from all of your sins) and receive the forgiveness and eternal life that only Jesus Christ can give through faith.  One final note:  God says now is the day of salvation.(2Corinthians 6:2)  God knows your sins and He knows your pain, and He died on the cross for the sake of it all.  Cry out to Jesus Christ today believing and He won't reject you!
 

And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

So, if the Son sets you free, you are really free.
